The most important Rasayana in Ayurveda. Amalaki is the richest natural Vitamin C source, balances all Doshas (especially Pitta), and is the basis of Chyawanprash. Nourishes all seven Dhatus.

Eat 1-2 fresh amla daily. Or take 1 tsp amla powder in warm water each morning with honey.

Very sour taste. May cause loose stool initially. Increases Agni.
☠️ 毒性と過剰摂取のリスク
Excessive Amla consumption (>15g/day or >3000mg vitamin C equivalent) can cause diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and acid reflux. Very high vitamin C intake increases kidney stone risk (calcium oxalate stones) in predisposed individuals. Chronic overconsumption may contribute to iron overload as vitamin C dramatically increases iron absorption. Tooth enamel erosion can occur from frequent exposure to its high acidity.
