Take 10mg lutein + 2mg zeaxanthin daily with a fatty meal. Foods: kale, spinach, eggs.

Non-toxic at recommended doses. Smokers should avoid beta-carotene supplements (different carotenoid).
☠️ 毒性と過剰摂取のリスク
Very low toxicity. Extremely high doses may cause carotenodermia (yellow-orange skin discoloration — harmless and reversible). No evidence of serious adverse effects even at high supplemental doses. However, smokers should avoid high-dose beta-carotene (a different carotenoid) due to increased lung cancer risk.
