Can cause life-threatening anaphylaxis in individuals allergic to bee products — even small amounts can trigger severe allergic reactions. High doses may cause GI upset, nausea, and diarrhea. Contaminated pollen products have caused liver injury. May interact with blood thinners (warfarin).
